MATRIC Event: ‘Generations of Discovery – Faces of Innovation’

MATRIC Annual Business Briefing and Reception
Jan. 19, 2012, The Clay Center, Charleston, W.Va.
5:30 – 6:30 p.m. | Presentation and Awards
6:30 – 8:00 p.m. | Reception

The Mid-Atlantic Technology, Research & Innovation Center will host its Annual Business Briefing and Reception at the Clay Center, in Charleston, W.Va.

The program’s theme, Generations of Discovery: The Faces of Innovation, will provide opportunity to highlight the experience of MATRIC’s senior scientists and researchers, the promising direction of junior employees, and the manner in which they are creating innovation together.

Since its inception in 2003, MATRIC has grown to over 100 employees. During that time, our economic and business impact has expanded significantly. CEO Keith Pauley will outline some of the company’s recent accomplishments and future projects.

Program commentary will also include discussion regarding the significance of MATRIC’s business model, which uses late-career professionals to mentor mid-career and junior level staff.  MATRIC views this structure as complementary to other nonprofit organizations that are working to attract, retain, and advance talent statewide and locally, such as Generation West Virginia and Generation Charleston.

The event is open to the public. Please RSVP your name, company and hometown to Tonya Huffman at tonya.huffman@matricinnovates.com or (800) 611-2296 x 880.
