SENIOR MANAGER OF LABORATORIES

Brooke Albin, MSE

Brooke Albin is the Senior Manager of Chemical Technologies, responsible for the coordination and execution of research and development (R&D) activities for numerous clients. She joined AVN* in 2007 as a chemical engineer. Since then, she has worked closely with Charles G. Moyers, Ph.D., P.E., and has been awarded nine patents. She specializes in crystallization and solids handling.

Ms. Albin has research experience with biological cultures, nanoparticles, and a variety of wet chemical and instrumental analytical techniques. She has participated in pilot plant construction and operation related to biodiesel technology. She has also been involved in process modeling and design. Ms. Albin received a B.A. in chemistry and a B.S. in biology from Alderson-Broaddus College and an M.S. in chemical engineering from West Virginia University.
