Grant Proulx is a Principal Chemist, responsible for being an innovative technical leader in research, discovery and scale-up of chemical processes, including realization of commercial technology packages and intellectual property portfolios. He joined MATRIC in 2018 and has nearly 30 years of experience performing innovative chemical research, experimental design, discovery/synthesis of new materials, and problem solving with strategic project planning. Prior to joining MATRIC, Dr. Proulx was a Global R&D Group Leader for Celanese and a Senior Research Chemist/Project and Team Leader for DuPont.
He is an inventor on domestic and international patents and first-author on numerous publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Proulx received a bachelor of science in Chemistry from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley.
